We facilitated our third Encounter Retreat here in Chicago this past weekend. It was an amazing time of praise and worship, powerful teaching, and explosive prophetic ministry. We were able to bring a praise and worship team from south Florida. They were off the chain. Here is the things that totally blew me away.
* How God can take any vessel that will surrender to God and show off through them!
* Passionate Praise and Worship engages God's presence, He can't resist.
* God's presence is attracted to heart and not talent.
* People can see Jesus in you. We had a woman who worked at the hotel come to us and ask if she could attend one of our session so we could lay hands on her in proxy for her husband who has cancer. I know he is healed.
* I can't stay up till 3:00 am and wake up early anymore, I'm still trying to catch up on the sleep.
* Running down the hall at full speed at 2:00 am is totally crazy.
* The atmosphere in a service is not determined by the speaker or praise team, it is determined by the hunger of those in the room. God fills those who are hungry and thirsty for him.
* Every Church should have an Encounter weekend at least twice a year, it is amazing! It will spark a move of God in your Church. (I have been invited to several Churches to help facilitate an Encounter). Email me if you are interested in having your team trained.
* One of the praise band members who is from Tampa Florida, took it back to his Church. He told one of the leaders in his Church that he felt the same anointing that was at the Encounter!
* When the devil fights you the hardest, the bigger the thing that God is about to do.
* The theme this weekend which we did not plan was "You look a whole lot better in your future than you do right now". If you can see yourself in your future and talk you future, your picture and your words will pull you there! Your potential is greater than your problem, your past is not a prophecy of your future.
I will post some of the video footage later today. I will share some of the main thoughts that God shared with us tomorrow.
God Rocks!
